Life Circle Alliances (LCA) is a nonprofit organization in Fairfax County, Virginia. LCA is about INDEPENDENCE FOR LIFE for older adults and adults with disabilities. LCA identifies showcases and seeks funding for creative, cost-effective, community-based projects that help older adults and adults with disabilities live independently in their community of choice. LCA also supports the needs of their families, caregivers and senior providers.
VITAL ISSUES
- Young Adults with Disabilities-employment support, leisure/social activities, transportation
- Access- to jobs, housing and information
- Senior Services-adult day care, mental health counseling, recreation
- Workforce-respite care and support for caregivers; training for in-home personal care providers; training for nursing professionals.
